Deliver articles to a Box folder
How Box works with SearchFit
Box is a delivery destination rather than a publishing target. Nothing is made public: SearchFit writes each finished article into a folder in your own Box as a markdown file, which is what an agency handing drafts to a client wants. Publishing the same article again replaces the existing file rather than leaving a second copy beside it.
What you can do
- Write finished articles into any folder in your Box
- Choose the destination folder, or create a new one without leaving SearchFit
- Re-publish an article to replace the file rather than duplicate it
Example use cases
- Hand a client a folder of drafts to review in the tool they already use
- Keep a running archive of everything SearchFit has written for a brand
How to connect
- In SearchFit, open Connectors, find Box and click Connect.
- Sign in to Box and grant access. SearchFit asks only to read and write files and folders, which is what it needs to list your folders and save an article into one.
- You are returned to SearchFit connected, with the destination set to All Files.
- Click Manage on the Box card to pick a different folder, or create one from the same panel.
- Publish an article and choose Box. It arrives in that folder as a markdown file named after the article slug.
